Bob Bell has some suggested changes…he’ll contact Hector.
Pinewood Derby – March 3rd at GAP
Only 3 locations big enough to host – GAP, Calvary, Monmouth
Change rules to specify BSA or equivalent for wheels. (Available at Michael’s)
Roundtable meeting Monday Feb 26 – only for registering/weighing in cars
Setup – Friday at 6
Patch design form – Rhoda will send out template.
Skip will send Rhoda website for bulk car blocks.
Steve M, Steve J, John, Rhoda, Aaron get together before January to iron out rules (wheels, etc.)
Chartering – John Fudalik
Handed out list of chartered/unchartered outposts.
Training – John Fudalik
Dec. 2 – Essentials – Vineland. Register on district website.
If we have enough instructors for a class, we’ll do our own Basics/Essentials class(es).
Safety course – online
First Aid/CPR – Bob Bell can do class, but someone would have to get the mannequins
EMPOWER – March 16-17
FCF – Steve Jenkins
Trace April 20-22 at Camp Blueberry. Be in prayer for this event.
Buckskin offered; applications & workbooks need to be in by March 1st to Josh Gill (download from national FCF website)
Scout election year – application letters due by Feb 1st
New applicants – start talking to the boys. Applications due March 1st to Bill Rieger.
April 7 – 8am work day at Camp Blueberry
National Rendezvous – July 16-20
Sectional PowWow –
John F will check out a camp in Forked River
Possibility – Wall? Bob Bell will set up something to get together to discuss
Camporama – July 2020
Start looking online for info, thinking about fundraisers, etc. not only for the camp registration fee, but also for traveling costs (hotel, food, gas, etc.)
NJRRAA –
Dates not available yet, but usually in mid-late August.
Commanders – think of ways to help boys and families raise money to attend. Great way to earn merits in one week that the outpost can’t do.
