  • Tom Buck – Devotion.  Habakkuk 1:5 “Look at the Nations and watch – be utterly amazed. For I am about to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.”  With everything going on around us, I believe this verse is relevant today as it was for Habakkuk. We need to be ready and expect God to move. We need to be ready to guide our RR boys through the changes and encourage them with this hope.
  • Joe S. asked if anyone was aware and any feedback with Outposts starting to meet.
  • John F. Encouraged everyone to follow protocols and guidelines being sure to keep events safe and follow church policies in regards to COVID-19.
  • Al B. Charter numbers are down as expected. NJ is behind. Please encourage outposts to get chartered as soon as possible.
  • Al B. No current training scheduled.
    • There is a new Ranger Basics Foundation. This can be taken all online, or half online and half in person depending on what your district/section offers. There is word that Ranger Essentials will undergo similar upgrades at some point in the future.
    • Al encouraged leaders to order the latest Leaders Manual that is available through My Healthy Church. Comes loose leaf and can be ordered with or without binder. This is the same one that was released at National Council in 2019.
  • Future events including Ranger Derby to be decided. Ranger Derby will likely still happen even if it has to be a live broadcast event.
  • Skip S. Keep your eyes open for special NJRRAA training weekend to help keep older boys (JTC through Elite) on schedule with required camps. It is tentatively planned for Memorial Day Weekend 2021. More information to follow.
  • Next meeting at Full Gospel Church, Wall Twp. Monday, November 2, 2020
  • Tom B. Closed meeting in prayer
