NJ EAST CENTRAL SOUTH SECTION
Royal Rangers Roundtable
May 13, 2019

Opening Prayer – Tom Buck

Devotion – Joe Schroepfer

Rom 12:1-2 Nation of Israel had “spiritual forgetfulness” – they forgot what God had done for them. This letter was written to people who had been Christians for quite a while. The perspective is with a view to God’s mercy – God gets our attention in times of life’s crises, where we “have nowhere else to go.” Sometimes, when the crisis is over, we have a tendency to revert back to our “normal life.” But we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, and not be conformed to this world. We are surrounded by the world, and we need to be in fellowship with other brothers & sisters in Christ and stay in the Word so as not to allow the speech and attitudes of the world to take over our minds.
