NJ EAST CENTRAL SOUTH SECTION
Royal Rangers Roundtable
April 1, 2019
Opening Prayer – Ben Martin
Devotion – Tom Buck
Be a FAT leader…
- Faithful – Faithfulness can manifest itself in different ways. Do we faithfully attend church and Ranger functions, even if we don’t feel like it? Do we model the dedication and commitment that we want to see in others? Are we faithful to God? Do we have a secret lifestyle that affects our relationships? Do we meet consistently with God, or are we so busy leading that we “don’t have time” to meet with the One who we are serving? Prov. 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings. 2 Tim 2:13
- Available – Are we available for God to use us in any way He seems fit? Do we live our lives so we’re still open to hear from God? What’s our heart attitude when the church, Rangers needs our help? We need to be available to God and to His church. Is. I hear the voice of the Lord …Whom shall I send… Matt. 28:1 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
- Teachable – Requires humility…it’s easy to think we know everything and that we don’t need to learn or grow. When we teach, we should ourselves be trying to learn more. Be careful we don’t become leaders who think we know it all, and who have seen it all and that we don’t need to learn any more. God is so big and vast…bigger than we can dream or imagine. Also learn how to communicate and teach better. The more we learn, the better leader we’ll be. Prov 23:12 Apply your ear to instruction. Prov 24:6
In what area(s) do we need to improve in order to become the leader God wants us to be?
