NJ EAST CENTRAL SOUTH SECTION
Royal Rangers Roundtable
February 6, 2017
Opening Prayer – Al Barber
Devotion – Steve Martin
Ps 112 – God’s Word is everything to the Christian…we need to turn to it instead of turning to other things. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord. We look to the Lord for wisdom and discretion in everything we do. v7 – His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Contrast between the righteous man and the wicked man.
Commanders Report – John Fudalik
Had a good time at Empower conference. The new national Commander sent out handwritten, personally signed thank you cards to those on staff at Camporama. Seems like the kind of leader we want leading.
Good news: PowWow coming up; Bad news: can’t get Turkey Swamp
So, now what…? John sent letter to the State regarding the situation at Allaire.
John will call Allaire to reserve one of the first 2 weekends in June.
Deputy Commanders Report – Aaron Biernacki
District PowWow theme: Mighty Men. Aaron will pull some things together.
Peter & LeAnn Frientz – new Sectional RK leaders. They will take care of RK for the PowWow, so we don’t have to incorporate them into the PowWow activities.
Events will be patrol events, not individual events.
Aaron will develop a form asking for event info…what supplies are needed, along with how many make up a patrol for that event.
Once we have finalized the theme, we’ll ask for patch designs. Will order 200 this year.
Winter Day – Feb 17 & 18
Our event (supplies will be provided): Chariot
